The popularization of household energy storage batteries is a crucial step toward the future. Ultimately, the low-carbon economy will increasingly depend on decentralized and variable renewable energy supplies.
Household energy storage lithium battery packs feature a service life of over 10 years. Their modular design allows multiple energy storage units to be connected in parallel with greater flexibility, enabling simple and fast installation while significantly improving energy storage and utilization efficiency.
The grid-tied home energy storage system consists of five core components: solar panel arrays, grid-tied inverters, BMS (Battery Management System), lithium battery packs, and AC loads. The system operates with hybrid power supply from both photovoltaic and energy storage systems. When mains power is available, the photovoltaic grid-tied system and mains power supply the loads together. In the event of a mains power outage, the energy storage system and photovoltaic grid-tied system work in tandem to provide power.
Off-grid home energy storage systems operate independently, with no electrical connection to the public grid. As a result, the entire system does not require a grid-tied inverter, and a photovoltaic inverter is sufficient to meet operational requirements. Off-grid home energy storage systems function in three working modes:
- Mode 1: Photovoltaic power supplies both the energy storage system and user loads (sunny days);
- Mode 2: Photovoltaic power and energy storage batteries jointly supply user loads (cloudy days);
- Mode 3: Energy storage batteries independently supply user loads (evenings and rainy days).

Vastsea carbon-steel enclosures are weather-resistant battery bank housing and wiring solutions with built-in shelving. They include terminal blocks for parallel electrical wiring, busbar-to-terminal block battery cabling, and terminal block-to-inverter cabling (when ordered).
